- Processing in a place protected from wind, dust and direct sunlight, the ideal processing temperature of the film is between 15 °C and 25 °C. Thoroughly clean the surface on which the film is to be applied from grease, dust and polish residues. To clean, use silicone remover, isopropanol or alcohol (no spirit or washing spirit). Rub the surface dry with a lint-free cotton cloth.
- In a spray bottle (plant pollinator) approx. Mix 1 litre of water with a teaspoon of standard detergent.
- To avoid fingerprints on the film, first spray fingers with the water/dishwasher detergent mixture and then gently remove the film from the backing paper. Spray the adhesive side and then the surface on which the film is to be applied.
- Position or align film on the surface. Press the film evenly and lightly. Using the squeegee, brush the excess liquid outwards starting from the middle. Remove or soak up the squeegee liquid with a cotton cloth. When turning around the edge, it is recommended to work with your fingers. If the film does not stick immediately, heat the film slightly with a hair dryer.
- After approx. 72 hours, the residual moisture is completely evaporated and the final adhesion is reached.
Tip: We recommend leaving the film on the paint for a maximum of two years. After that, it must be replaced.
